Ireland reviews

  • "Harbouring views"

It was the first time I have had the pleasure to arrive in Poole by sea and a thoroughly enjoyable experience it was. Many passengers including myself were up on deck blessed by the sun giving us a warm welcome as the vessel navigated it’s way carefully into dock. The area is extremely interesting as I have since found out some of it’s history and definitely worthy of further exploration. Besides this Brittany Ferries continues to give it’s usual service with friendly staff running a clean ship where you can relax and enjoy the crossing. My only real complaint is that fares to tend to be on the high side which is a shame because otherwise I would sail the route more often.

  • "The trip we never did from Cherbourg to Portsmouth - and the trip we did make"

Unsurprisingly, our ferry crossing from Cherbourg to Portsmouth had to be cancelled to strong winds. When we rang up Brittany Ferries they were very helpful in arranging for us to the get ferry from St Malo. Whilst this was much longer, it was as comfortable as it could be. Brittany Ferries' customer service was first rate.

  • "First timer on Ferry"

I really wasn't sure what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised with all the facilities and great customer service on the ship. There was plenty of entertainment for the kids including free face painting and great magic shows. Didn't try the food but it all looked fantastic and very reasonable prices. would be very happy to travel with Brittany Ferries again.
