Poros is an attractive coastal town located on the southeast coast of Kefalonia, one of the Ionian Islands of Greece. Situated at the crossing point where the Vohinas river enters the sea, the name ‘Poros’ actually means ‘ford’ or ‘crossing’ in Greek.
