Your staff need to be taught how to secure and strap down motorcycles, the staff member hadn't a clue how to secure my new £22000 bike, he guided me into a front wheel clamp and proceeded to strap my bike to the floor using only the pannier protection bars, he then asked me to get off my bike which I refused because I knew the bike would tip either way and showed him that this would then damaged my front fender, he tried four different ways even just strapping the front wheel to the floor, in the end I backed my motorcycle out of the front wheel clamp put the bike on the side stand and clamped it down securely across the saddle myself, this young man couldn't speak English so when I was telling him he had no idea why I was complaining, on return to my motorcycle I had to ask remove the strapping myself, on returning to UK via Cherbourg to Portsmouth the staff knew what they where doing strapped the bike securely across the saddle and used protection pads and secure strapping, on return at Portsmouth I found the staff had removed the strapping before I reached the motorcycle that is what I call service, you need to get Cherbourg staff to train your staff, because putting any bike that has a large front fender into a front wheel clamp is pure stupidity and any movement will damage the fender. I was very disappointed with the service below deck g

Couldn't fault staff or facilities. Unfortunately a rough trip due to weather conditions and a lot of sick people on board, particularly children. Staff went over and above to help people out. Would do it again.
