This bustling metropolis is best known for its long beaches and incredible viewpoints from Morne Fortune Hill in the south. Castries ferry port is located on the northwest of St. Lucia, only a very short walk from the town centre and just 4km from George FL Charles Airport. The best way of getting to the port of Castries is by car. Simply follow the Gros Islet Highway from the north or take la Toc Road from the south. The Castries ferry terminal has a variety of different facilities for passengers to enjoy including an arrival hall, air-conditioned departure lounge, a restaurant, a bar, ATMs, taxi rank and toilets. There is also a designated drop-off zone outside the terminal building.

The Pointe a Pitre ferry port on the south coast of the island, located right next to Aeroport de Pointe-a-Pitre Le Raizet. The port is easily accessible by public transport, with regular buses like A41, A98, B10, B20 and B21 all stopping directly outside the ferry terminal. Alternatively, there are taxi services available. However, traffic is renowned for being very busy in Guadeloupe. The port is about 5 minutes away from downtown Pointe a Pitre. The new terminal has a variety of facilities for passengers to enjoy including a bar, luggage storage, disabled access, toilets and car rental agencies nearby.
