Sorrento Capri Ferry reviews

  • "Sorrento to Capri"

We booked our tickets on-line before leaving the UK and everything was very we’ll organised. Within seconds we received a confirmation email with our travel voucher. On the day we went to Capri we arrived 30minutes early at the port and exchanged our vouchers for our tickets. The man at the ticket office was very polite and helpful. The 20minutes trip was very smooth and all staff were friendly. The boat itself was clean and tidy. Coming home we were 1hour early and there was no problem in us being allowed to catch an earlier sailing. Thanks SNAV and Direct Ferries for helping to give us a lovely time on the island of Capri.

  • "It was ok, but was chaotic"

The trip itself and the ferries were comfortable and nice, but the information and the management of the departures was very chaotic. Nobody could tell us where our ferries go from, the electronic screen was outdated (it showed departures at 1-2 p.m., although it was like 5 p.m. At the time...) But finally we managed to get info about the departing pier so it was ok.

  • "Mixed feelings"

We booked our tickets online. Sorrento-Capri was a smooth, punctual trip. For Capri-Sorrento no snav ship turned up at the assigned pier at the scheduled time. Instead there was a Volaviamare ferry, which we boarded. After some discussion with the crew, who said we should have swapped our snav tickets at the ticket office, they let us on.
