  • "NI Trip 4 Aug"

The ship and toilets was lovely and clean, we had avery smooth crossing and food was good and very reasonably priced. We appreciated the fact that parents were frequently asked to supervise the children running round. Our car wouldn't start on debarkation and the crew were extremely helpful and called assistance, which was there within minutes. Excellent

  • "Great trip!"

The ferry was delayed by over an hour but they kept us up to date with info and made most of the time up. Very friendly staff, lots of amenities, would definitely use again. No loo roll in ladies loo the whole journey though (small gripe).

  • "Trip to family in Ireland"

Trip over to Belfast was fantastic we managed to book the Stena plus lounge. This is definitely worth doing. On fortunately we choice Monday 22nd to return when the ferry was packed with returning golf fans. We were unable to book the Stena plus lounge this time. It might be good if not all spaces are booked on line and some are kept for those who want to upgrade on the day. Just unlucky with the date we picked. Unfortunately with the return crossing being very busy, there were issues with toilets being blocked and being out of action. All the staff on board on both journeys were very helpful and accommodating could not fault the service you receive. Looking forward to our next trip will definitely use the Stena plus lounge again. (will check dates next time for any events)

  • "Crap and scamming service"

Went on line to book a ferry for 2 people and 2 dogs from Birkenhead to Belfast. After putting the details in and going to payment. It told me it was £343.00. What a great price. I paid by PayPal, so fast and easy. When we got to the ferry port to check in. We were told we have to pay an extra £15 for the dogs, after arguing with a member of staff about the payment they also told us there was no room for them. We also had the same problem coming back. We had to pay again for the dogs and was told there was no room. On both trip there was 5 free cages. The reason we had the problem was the person (Dan) took my booking on line and then made the booking with stenaline didn’t book my dogs in the kennels him booked them to stay in the car. No way am I leaving my dogs in a car for over 8 hours. After callings to so many people it still never got sorted. So to everyone that reads this go direct to stena line. This was the first and it will be the last time I use direct S**t ferries

  • "Great "

Decent low cost way to travel. Food isnt too bad though a change in the menu from time to time wouldn’t hurt. The price of some of the soft drinks is absolutely ridiculous. On the same level of flying and completely unnecessary. £2.40 for a bottle of 7up and £1.70 for a carton of juice. This needs to be looked at. Much easier to just bring your own stuff

The trip overall was very good. We rented a cabin which as also nice. I enjoyed it. The one caveat that I would offer is that the food on the buffet line needs improvement. Yuck. Dry and not very tasty.
