Ferry to Sorrento reviews

  • "Easy and effective experience "

It was easy to board the ferry and find out information from the help desk. We moved our ferry ticket forward to get an earlier ferry for a charge of €3 each. When I booked I checked the part that asked if I had luggage so I assumed I had paid for it but upon boarding was asked for an additional €2.10 to pay for my luggage, not a large amount but I held up the line sorting this out. Beautiful way to travel to Sorrento. On board drinks and snacks available although I didn’t use. Would recommend and use again.

  • "Here's one you won't publish"

I mistakenly bought reservations from your company for two crossings of the Bay of Naples, one Naples to Sorrento on Sunday 13th, October and the return crossing today, October 16th. I probably didn't notice you weren't the ferry owners but buying through your company means queuing at the terminal to have printed tickets the company requires. Fortunately, I had your reminder SMS but the tellers were very skeptical that I'd paid for the crossing. This morning was even more difficult and I nearly lost the crossing and that would have marooned in Sorrento, missing my flight home. The hydrofoils AliLauro use are efficient and comfortable for their purpose but I urge users to find AliLauro's own website before booking with the wrong company. I've had to take taxis from half way up a mountain twice each way in four days to beg for tickets I thought I had already purchased. If I was claiming on you, it would be for a token £100, including the refunds for both tickets for two people. As the title implies, you won't publish this review but there doesn't seem to display a complaints e-mail address to which I could write. Something else needs fixing.

  • "Ferry Naples - Sorrento - Capri and return"

Perhaps the ongoing departure details at Napoli could have been a little clearer and more precise. But we got to where we wanted to get too ....

  • "Extra baggage "

We travelled from Capri to Sorrento. I booked online but I didn’t see any baggage extras. We were then charged extra on the boat for luggage by the staff. €2 a bag! We had 3 suitcases. This didn’t happen on the way out with Snav. Only on the return with Alilauro
