"Great value for price"
The trip from Newcastle to Amsterdam was a bit under 300 pounds with a car and included a night in the cabin - a completely reasonable price. The crew was friendly and answered any questions promptly. We were honestly a bit let down by the quality of the buffet - for about €25 we expected great food, but got pretty average instead. However, the atmosphere in the bar was relaxing, the ship was clean, and everything went according to plan - you even had a few movies to pick between at the cinema. All in all, I can recommend DFDS.

"Pint Pinchers transfer disaster "
Don't leave your pint in the coloubus bar go for a cigarette and assume your pint will still be there went for a cigarette returned 5 minutes later and the bar staff had took my pint so when I went to ask her about it I seen it with the other glasses on the bar but had other people's glasses stacked on top so obviously didn't want that and she said well there is nothing we can do and I shouldn't of left it and I explained I was gone 5 mins max went for a cigarette she still wasant Interested so I asked to speak to a manager and she simply replied with she's not here so you can't haha Philippine femail very rude and uncooperative apart from this the ship it's self was run like clock work very clean and tidy well prepared and room was spot on entertainment was good also there is a room at the front if the ship were you can look and the view and learn a bit about Wales the lass who works in there from Yorkshire was a very pleasant lady friendly and took the time to learn us about Wales the north sea etc she is a credit to dfds sea ways only other bad experience on the trip was while on the way into amsterdam got more than half way into the journey and in bad traffic so took a while the driver informed us that he had to turn back go all the way back to the docks because 2 passengers were left behind this took at least a hour of our time in Amsterdam and when if you only on a day trip this is a significant amount of time

The standard cabin was really comfortable and there was a lot of interesting things to do on board. The only not so good thing I have to say is the fact that there is a charge for WiFi and its not cheap. Recommend having stuff downloaded on your device before you travel. Also there is no signal on board and the charge for calls is around £1.5 per minute (I am with tesco mobile). Overall a very nice and comfortable experience, good value for money and very friendly and helpful staff.

"Et bildæk med meget lidt plads til bilen."
En god tur med gode vejrforhold, god mad og god service over hele linien, men der var for lidt plads til bilen på bildækket, så det var meget besværlig at parkere på bildækket og komme derfra trods god hjælp af personalet.

"Nice food, but sound sensitive cabins"
Everything was very nice, especially the food was very good. We have one thing that was not so good. We slept in a cabin where we very easily could hear noise from neighbour cabins - both talk, and sadly also snorring throughout the whole night. People in other cabins banged the walls to make it stop. If we are going on another trip, we would like to be sure of getting a whole nights sleep Next time.

clean and functional cabins food was good and prices reasonable but getting a table in the bufett was a 2 hr wait and then you had to que for another 15 mins service was ok but many of the staff did not speak english the impression was we want to grab every penny from you!! making a profit is ok but this was blatent the cost of internet access was prohibitive as were the films to a captive audiance!! seems my book was a lot cheaper

"Very effcient and rooms were very clean"
Thankyou the allocation of rooms and men rhat work to load our cars were very effcient. I do wish there weren't such a wait for the lifts for my husband's arthritic legs but I'm happy there were lifts. I was so seasick though and would suggest to other seasick people to ask for a suite in the centre of the ship but the sheets doona and pillow were very clean, as was the ensuite. Sorry we didn't leave it very clean. The shower was amazing Thanks everyone x We did not eat on-board but Starbucks was great

"A very good experience spoiled."
Catering was superb. Staff experienced and helpful. Cabin adequate. Being a 15hr ferry crossing overnight, all started very well until out to sea and then the whole of the ship literally rattled all the way across, making sleeping impossible. Expected the engine noise, but the curtain rails, doors, windows, walkway, ceilings all rattling, on our deck and other decks when a walk was taken due to the noises, made the whole crossing a poor experience.
