Currently, you can take your car on the ferry to Ancona as well as the ferry to Pesaro. The ferry to Cesenatico currently does not support vehicles, so you will only be able to travel on this ferry as a foot passenger.
The port of Zadar is located within the main centre of the Old Town, and therefore there are plenty of facilities that are within easy access, such as restaurants, bars, and all the local transport links. Indeed, there is a bus stop located just outside the port, as well as a taxi rank. Inside the actual port, there is a currency exchange, toilets, and a seating area.
