• "Mixed feelings"

  We booked our tickets online. Sorrento-Capri was a smooth, punctual trip. For Capri-Sorrento no snav ship turned up at the assigned pier at the scheduled time. Instead there was a Volaviamare ferry, which we boarded. After some discussion with the crew, who said we should have swapped our snav tickets at the ticket office, they let us on.

• "Lucky mistake "

  We arrived early for our ferry as we didn’t want to miss the 30 deadline. Due to leave at 10:30 so we got on board at 9:50 and without any notice we were off! Fortunately, we were still heading to Naples but via Prodica - could have been a massive detour! Quick service and would recommend over the longer ferries.

  Great choice of transport for day trip, picked SNAV based on own research into timeliness and reliability which proved right... Left on schedule and took a smooth 20 minutes each way... Snack bar on board.. Seats good... Recommended

• "The Seasick Crossing"

  Travelled from Naples to Procida on 3 August. It was a rough crossing which caused many people to be very sick. I don't know what steps were taken to alleviate the discomfort for the passengers as the boat went very fast. The heat made it very uncomfortable for the passengers and the air conditioning was only turned on 3/4 of the way across. Most people were given a sick bag and many people were vommitting. I felt very ill when I got off the boat, sick with nausea and shaking. I do sail so used to the sea.
