  • "Liverpool to Dublin overnight "

This is the 2nd year we have taken the overnight ferry as it works well with our travel plans. Great value, good food, comfortable beds and has always departed and arrived on time. A great way to start our holiday - arrive in Dublin early, refreshed and ready for a great day

I think you should ask passengers not to lay one person on the lounge seats as the first on thay grab a seat and everyone else has to sit on the smaller chairs for the seven hours trips

  • "Holiday trip"

Sailing from Liverpool to Dublin was flawless. Friendly welcome on board, informed of mealtimes and given key for our cabin which was spotless. Breakfast and evening meal meal were tasty with plenty of choice. Free hot drinks available throughout trip. Return trip was not so good, toilets out of use so had to use cabin, no bacon for breakfast and orange/apple juice machine not working.

  • "Good experience with children"

We travelled as a family of 5(2 adults and 3 children-1,3,6). When leaving Liverpool the ship was delayed for 2,5 hours which understandably can happen. As compensation we were given 2 cabins free of charge . We greatly appreciate this as I think it opened our eyes that we needed cabins when travelling with such young children. The cabins were great, clean and cosy for our journey. On our journey home we purchased 2 cabins for 40€. All the children slept for some of the journey! The communal area again was clean and tidy. Great options for the catering side and it was all included in the price . Limited options for the children but they still are something! The only flaw was no children area as so previous ferries we were on but we brought lots to entertain them. Overall good experience and would travel again. The staff were all kind and courteous

  • "good crossing"

We were please with the service. The ship staff were very nice, cheerful & helpful. The ship is a little old but clean & adequet facilities. The food is acceptable and good enought choice as its part of the package. I would have liked bigger towels for shower use & a hand towel & there was no soap in the dispensers in the cabin bathroom.

  • "norbank v norbay"

both ships services and staff are excellent , however in my opinion norbank has the edge, seemed to be more selection foodwise and obviously cabins a bit more updated. just a minor point there is never any soap or shower gell in the cabin dispensers, we know to bring our own. drinks facilities at Dublin port are very poor and are only available when check in is opened.

  • "Liverpool - Dublin"

We enjoyed a very pleasant ferry both ways in calm weather. The breakfast and dinner were included in the price and were very good. The cabin came in very useful for resting and privacy though not essential for holiday makers. Overall, happy with the experience but waiting 1 hour in a lock system was tedious.

We arrived at liverpool dock with a flat tyre. David Kelly and his crew took immediate charge and changed our tyre there and then. They also drove the car onto the ferry as I was nervous. Really appreciated there help, the put us at easy with laughs and jokes. Thank you so much you made our trip enjoyable.

  • "Refined service"

Everything was good, especially the food. The only 'BIG' fault is that I completed my task in Ireland so was ready to leave for the UK mainland 12 hrs earlier than booked. I went to the ferry port to see if I could get an earlier ferry transfer as I was extremely tired because of driving 750 miles or so and had 300 more to do but the P&O ferry port was closed for the night! Stena for one were still operating at night but the cost of the journey back with them and considering half of the cost that I had paid P&O (for the return journey) would have been wasted, made it inefficient.

Great way to travel, better than all the other ferries on the Irish sea. This was my first time on the Liverpool to Dublin ferry as they now take motor bikes.. Quick loading and unloading passengers, great breakfast and dinner, cabin was comfortable and warm, shower was lovely and hot. bed was great after 4 hour journey to get to the boat, slept till they called me for dinner. 5 stars all the way.

Thoroughly enjoyable crossing s on calm seas. The cabins were clean and tidy with en suite facilities.A powerful shower which was excellent. The only issue is very minor but not enough dining space away from the tv lounge at busy times. Will definitely recommend and look forward to using the service again

  • "Nothing was too much trouble"

Another comfortable, clean and easy return crossing of the Irish sea. The crew are friendly and helpful and Mark from Stranraer, the ship's cook on the Norbay, is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about my Gluten Fee and Lactose free diet! He cooked me an amazing, one-off fish dish for tea - baked fish with garlic, chives and cherry tomatoes! I can't recommend the boat and the crew highly enough. Thank you again. Can't wait to be back on board! xx
