Split ferry port in Croatia is served by a number of ferry routes with crossings to Ancona, Civitanova Marche & Supetar available. With a selection of up to 13 Sailings Weekly, the port of Split connects Croatia with Italy.
Sailing durations range from 30 minutes on the Supetar service to 9 hours on the Ancona service.
Although there is a brief summary on this page, as sailing information can vary based on time of year we’d advise you to get live sailing times and prices in our Split fare search.
Currently, there are three different ferries that you can take from Split, which will take you to two different ports on the coast of Italy. You can either get the ferry to Ancona, a route which offers the most amount of ferries, or you can get the ferry to Civitanova Marche, which is slightly further south than Ancona, but is still on the coast of Italy. For more information about routes and prices, please use our helpful fare finder tool.
As there are different ferry routes available here, there is no one specific sail time, especially as ferry times can vary between 4 hours and up to 9 hours, so we recommend checking your specific route before travelling to see how long your journey may take.
There are currently up to 11 sailings a week, with 10 of these travelling from Ancona, and the last sailing coming from Civitanova Marche, which only sails once a week. However, the number of ferries sailing may change at last minute due to seasonal changes, so please be sure to check before you travel.
It is entirely possible to take your car with you on the ferry to Ancona, but unfortunately, the ferry route to Civitanova Marche does not support cars. For more information about bringing your car with you on the ferry, please visit the operator page.
