Currently there are a wide variety of ferries available to get to Greece, with the majority of ferries on offer coming from the many islands that surround Greece, like the Cyclades Islands, the Ionian Islands, the Dodecanese Islands, and many other individual islands in the area. You can also get ferries within Greece itself, as well as from neighbouring countries such as Italy and Turkey. For more information about the actual ferry routes to Greece, please consult the specific route pages
Due to the differing routes that are available to Greece, which have different sail times and actual ferries in service, prices will greatly vary. For more information, please use our helpful fare finder tool to find the best fare and route for you.
As there are such a wide variety of routes available, there is no shortage of ferries on offer here – we have currently up to 9,340 weekly ferry routes to over 90 different ports – and with sail times ranging greatly between 20 minutes, to an hour and 15 minutes, to anything up to 8 hours, it is impossible to say when your specific ferry will sail, so please check our dedicated route pages to see when exactly the ferry sails for you.
It is entirely possible for you to take your car with you on certain ferries throughout Greece, but it entirely depends on where you are travelling to, and what ferry company you are travelling with, as some can support cars and some cannot. When looking for your perfect ticket, please make sure to check to see if you can bring a car with you on the ferry that you choose.
